Who would like to spend $2,500 on a bike and travel less than 20 mph on the road? As a response to the article “At SXSW, an Electric Bike Offers a Path to Conscious Commuting“, it is a practical and optimal way to save energy for countries with high population density, but for Americans, probably no.
