The new NRDC report reveals 29 states being unprepared for growing water threats to economy and public health. Only 9 states have taken comprehensive steps to address water-related issues. The report also focuses on how state government across the nation are planning and preparing for the water-related impacts of climate change, such as more severe and frequent storms, intense rainfall, sea-level rise, warmer water temperature, and drought events.
