On the very first Climate Impacts Day (May 5th), 350.org is planning hundreds of worldwide events to “connect the dots” between climate change and extreme weather. The group invites everyone to “protest, educate, document and volunteer along with thousands of people around the world to support the communities on the front lines of the climate crisis.” Find an event near you or create a new event. Is it because more than 7,700 daily temperature records were broken across the country last month? Is it because this is the fourth warmest winter on record?
